UEG knows that it does not always make sense for you to repair your device. Whether your unit is beyond economical repair or you just think you need to upgrade to a newer unit, UEG is committed to making sure old electronics do not end up in a landfill wherever possible. We will even provide you a prepaid shipping kit that contains everything you need to ship your product to us.

What does UEG do with old, non-functioning equipment?

UEG works with many charitable organizations that need gently used and refurbished devices such as the American Red Cross and local schools. In the case of electronic parts that just cannot be salvaged and used, UEG breaks them down into their component parts and ships them to electronic recyclers who follow all governmental regulations related to electronics disposal.

How do you send your unit to UEG for Disposal?

The process is very simple. Just send us an email at recycle@unitedcamera.com and include the make, model, and condition of your device along with your name and shipping address. Once approved, we will quickly dispatch a prepaid shipping kit to you. Once you receive it, just place your device inside and give it to the shipper. That’s it! UEG handles the rest!Tablets1
