Earth Day: Recycle Your Unused Electronics

Earth Day. Be the spark that ignites environmental change. Recycle your old electronics.

United Electronics Group (UEG) supports efforts to protect the environment, which is why we offer to recycle your device, whether it’s an iPod, iPhone, camera, tablet or Mac. UEG makes it easy for you to recycle with our prepaid shipping kit.

At UEG, we know it does not always make perfect sense to repair your device. Your unit may be beyond economical repair, or you may decide to upgrade to a newer unit. UEG is committed to making sure old electronics do not end up in a landfill whenever possible.

What does UEG do with old, non-functioning equipment? UEG works with many charitable organizations that need gently used and refurbished devices such as the American Red Cross and local schools. In the case of electronics parts that cannot be salvaged and used, UEG breaks them down into component parts and ships them to electronics recyclers who follow governmental regulations related to electronics disposal.

How do you send your unit to UEG for disposal? The process is simple. Just send us an email at customerservice@unitedelectronicsgroup.com and include the make, model, and condition of your device along with your name and shipping address. Once approved, we will quickly dispatch a prepaid shipping kit to you.

At UEG we do our part to protect the environment. And we’ll  help you do yours. Happy Earth Day!
